Arriva

During my Corporate Design course, we were given the incredible opportunity to work with Arriva, a major bus company. Our task was to design a visual for the interior of their buses—a huge deal for me, as it allowed me to showcase my skills to a broader audience. I put my heart into the project, and it truly paid off. I received compliments from both the director of ROC and representatives from Arriva. Even after the project ended, I stayed in touch with them because they were enthusiastic about my ideas for future visuals. One of the proudest moments for me was when my design was featured on RTV Oost. That kind of recognition meant a lot. What makes me especially proud is that I was the only student who really followed Arriva’s guidelines while also adding a personal twist to reflect the identity of Twente. My concept was both original and meaningful: I created a design where each line connected to a circle, representing different iconic locations in and around Enschede. The lines symbolized the roads leading to these places, turning the visual into a kind of abstract map that celebrates what makes the region unique.
